Day 1: Friday, October 2th; The Trip to Morgantown

The trip began at 6am on Friday as the band members arrived at Webster High School for bus boarding. At 4:30pm (1 1/2 hours ahead of schedule) they arrived at their dinner destination in Morgantown. At 6:45pm they began "settling" into their rooms at the hotel.

Day 2: Saturday, October 3rd; The Competition

The Preliminaries

Today began with a 6:30am wake-up and breakfast. For practice this year there was no fog, just a chill in the air. The rain started at 1:15 and didn't stop! Webster performed at their originally scheduled time of 3:45pm. At 5:00, Webster found that they placed second in their class (AAA) and tied for Highest Achievement for Outstanding Visual! They qualified for finals and drew a 10:00pm performance time!

The Finals

The rain slowed to a light drizzle then strengthened just before Webster began their show. Webster put on a great performance which earned them 3rd place overall and a Highest Achievement award for Outstanding Visual. Now it's pizza time!!

Day 3: Sunday, October 4th; The Trip Home

After a 7am wake-up and breakfast, the buses were loaded and running. The group managed to get through Buffalo just before the Buffalo Bills' sell-out game ended (which the Bills won!) and thus avoided the traffic jam. Arriving 15 minutes early (6:15pm), the band and staff were cheered and welcomed home by family and friends.
