After two years of Autumn Fanfares which were preceded by lots of rain (last year was rained out), we finally had a dry one. This was our first Autumn Fanfare in our new stadium at the Webster High School H. W. Schroeder Building. The new lights were available last year, but thanks to last year's rain, tonight was the first time we used the new stadium and the lights for Autumn Fanfare.

We were priveleged to host 11 visiting bands tonight, 3 of them from the immediate Rochester area. They put on great shows and we thank them for joining us tonight.

The evening finished with the awards ceremony preceded by the senior presentation. The orange moon rose over the tree tops in the crystal-clear sky to greet the 27 seniors as they paraded onto the field. The seniors, accompanied by their parents, were recognized for their final home competition.

The awards were presented by Dr. Lawrence Pereira, Superintendent, Webster Central School District, and Tom Strining, Principal, Webster Senior High School.
